Ladies & Gents, Girls & Boys: Team Premier would like to wish you all A Happy New Year! May all your dreams, hopes and wishes come true and may this year be the best yet! The Premier office is hardly complete yet, as half or our team are still spread all over the globe… but we’ll be reunited again by next week and will be starting to gear up for London Fashion Week. Talking about Fashion Week, we’ve currently got one of our favourite girls in town, Miss Julia Nobis, and got talking about her incredible accomplishment during last year’s Fashion Week, she did an astonishing 72 shows - more than any other girl!!! She deserves a big fat Award for this amount of shows, and may we add, for never complaining, she’s a trooper - we love you, Julia!
Another Premier star, Lara Mullen, has been a busy bee shooting plenty of great editorials and campaigns in the past few months and the results are coming in fast and continuously - the first one is the Topshop campaign, shot by no other than Josh Olins, we simply love love love it!!
Tao Okamoto’s new Emporio Armani campaign has also just been released - oh-so-chic and as beautiful as ever!!
Karmen Pedaru shot by Mert&Marcus for the Gucci Spring campaign and Bottega Veneta Spring campaign by Jack Pierson! Major campaigns for a major model!
Looking at this Remix#72 editorial by Dean Podmore makes us wish it was summer already - Hannah Holman at her very best - simply gorgeous!!
And last but not least, our very own supermodel, The Grande Dame of the Modelling Industry, Aunty Carole, has just been given these UNREAL outtakes of her Ponystep editorial. We wish we were as cool as you are!!! LOVE!!!
Bonjour, and what a beautiful one it is… the leaves are golden and twinkle in the bluest of skies, Starbucks has officially brought back those cute-as-nothing-else Christmas Cups and as if this wouldn’t be enough to be ecstatic, we’re only 5 weeks away from Christmas AND It.Is.Friday!!
Talking about Christmas, we are obsessed with this jumper by Premier favourite, Jonathan Saunders, Father Christmas would you pretty please….?
And looking ahead, next year promises to be turning into one hell of a year… well there’s the Olympics, which will be huge, some say it’ll be impossible to commute to our jobs each day (Amen!), but we reckon we’ll all have a ball. We’ve also just seen the trailer to a movie extraordinaire, ‘Mirror Mirror’, which appears to be filled with majorly heavy gowns (think Marie Antoinette), bold colours and a cast to die for - we are in love with it already!! Tao Okamoto looking every bit the superstar that she is in the new Numero China, shot by John-Paul Pietrus.
Bambi can be seen in the new Bergdorf Goodman Resort Catalogue - in her usual cute/super gorgeousness!
Julia Nobis shot by Hedi Slimane for V74 Winter 2011/2012 - this must be one of the most beautiful images of the lovely Julia, we adore!!
And Wang Xiao struts her stuff for SCMP Style Magazine, shot by Jeff Hahn.
Last but not least we found a few images we just had to share with you on our daily waltz through the wicked world of tumblers… HAPPY WEEKEND EVERYONE!!

Like every year we must apologize for the neglect. And yes, like every year we so obviously have a good excuse. Fashion Week has come and gone and as per usual we lost some (sleep that is) and gained some (under eye bags). But most importantly everyone from the always so charming models, designers , casting directors, chauffeurs and Premier team has gone to great lengths (we’d like to think of it almost as a symphony orchestra) to ensure a smooth operation of London Fashion Week.
As you may have read, there are a few stones in the way of an even better run of London Fashion Week, but don’t worry the issue is in best hands and as we speak is being dealt with by our boss and founder, Carole White, who has pointed out the exact problem in articles in THE INDEPENDENT and THE EVENING STANDARD - we’ll of course keep you posted on the developments of this burning story! Speaking of Aunty Carole featuring in magazines, New York Magazine are currently running an interview with our queen bee, which we simply ‘ADORE’ (in true American type of lingo)! They must love all things Premier at NY Mag as they’re also showing an exclusive Model Diary of Premier’s Sebastian Sauve!
In terms of girls, we’ve had some amazing faces in the shows this season, Bambi, Julia, Melodie, Tao, Chantal, Emily, Wang, Beegee and many more were all strutting their stuff on the catwalks of some of London’s hottest designers. Model sensation? If at this point you haven’t heard of the lovely Lara Mullen, you’re way out of fashion date. Lara is Premier’s number one shooting star, having started modelling literally a minute ago, when Premier introduced her to NY earlier this month, boy did the fashion world get talking… and they haven’t stopped since. Her features… I quite frankly am lost for words. She’s one of the most exciting faces that have emerged from British soil in ages and we are ecstatic to have found this diamond who walked for Alexander Wang, Acne, Vera Wang, Theory, Topshop, Richard Nicholl, Jonathan Saunders, Daks and Edun!!! Truly sensational! And here comes yet another big announcement, Premier have just signed Kelly Mittendorf!!! Yes, we’re rather excited about this major new addition of fabulousness (PRADA campaign etc)!
Our favourite show? There were many, but if we had to pick one, it’d have to be Giles - the catwalk, the girls, the hair, the make-up and most importantly THE CLOTHES were UNREAL (insert a Premier Loves moment here). Team Premier can also report we have not gained so much on the waist (we usually pile on the pounds due to models arriving with bags of chocolates and sweets from abroad and quick take-away pizzas), we have kept away the excess baggage with a little help from the Hummus Bros who have kindly provided us with their delightful hummus, guacamole, chicken et more creations - super healthy - and super good - models and staff could not get enough!!
Whilst most of the country is on holiday Premier HQ is still pretty much the epicentre of B.U.S.Y! With girls flying in and out of town, photographers and casting directors stopping by, chatting about what’s to come (and who!) in the new season, outside in the sun, whilst sipping some Percy’s Ice Tea, which we love in this steaming heat, Team Creative Premier are designing the new, and as per usual, highly anticipated Show Cards and Team EastCoast Premier Model Search are happily riding up and down the country, scouting away, referring to the EastCoast First Class Trains as their homes by now… next stop Edinburgh Train Station, 11am, Friday 5th August… And as for our girls, they’re busy popping up in the finest editorials there are… see for yourselves!
Beegee: Looking HOT in the new issue of EXIT Magazine - shot by no other than Greta Ilieva - MAJOR!
Katrin Thormann: German Vogue love this German beauty and we love this editorial lensed by Gregory Harris.
Tao Okamoto: Unbelievably cool for Japanese Vogue. We especially are obsessed with the styling of this editorial (and Tao’s hair!)
Tiffany Collier: Making us wish we had limbs quite as long and a holiday, at that beach! Appeared in Italian Grazia by Zoltan Tombor.
Polly Bean: Got herself a VB handbag and is in Grace Coddington’s head…
Yulia T: Looking so chic and graceful in Elle Russia by David Bellemere.
Now you may be able to guess that for a model agency Campaigns are like the apples of our eyes – aka: what it’s all about. Carefully constructing a model’s career, step by step guiding her into the right direction can take a lot of time, patience and tears at times. However all the blood sweat and tears are soon forgotten should your girl hit the big time…hence we are ecstatic to announce that not one but two Premier girls have landed this year’s D&G campaign, which, in campaign terms speaking, is like winning the lottery, well something like that anyway…
Big shout out to you two major ladies, Melodie & Tao!!!
You guys know how much we love Tao. Quite frankly we could look at her most perfect face and style all day long. Unfortunately we don’t get the pleasure of Tao’s every day style as she’s one of the busiest models at the moment, not only is she super in demand on the catwalks and in the studios, she’s also very active in giving back. Just recently she’s helped out “Fashion For Relief” and posed for a limited edition print in aid of the Japan earthquake. We’ve just received this newest addition of “Tao Amazingness”, Tao on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar shot by Gan. We love everything about that image… well, with Tao being involved, that’s nothing out of the ordinary really…
